You will ensure that raw materials, intermediate products, and finished materials move efficiently between production facilities while maintaining consistent quality, traceability, and delivery schedules.
You will also coordinate product testing, certifications, and regulatory compliance, working closely with our technical team and external laboratories.
This is a hands on role where you will help build the operational systems needed to scale ādara® from pilot production to commercial manufacturing.
Your responsibilities
Contract manufacturing & production coordination
- Coordinate production activities with external contract manufacturers, including fiber processors, spinning mills, nonwoven manufacturers, dyehouses, and textile finishing partners.
- Manage production schedules, manufacturing orders, lead times, and delivery commitments.

- Ensure manufacturers receive the correct raw materials, technical specifications, and production instructions.
- Monitor production progress, identify delays, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support the selection, onboarding, and evaluation of new manufacturing partners.
- Coordinate production trials, sample runs, and the transition toward larger commercial volumes.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, material yields, production efficiency, and quality consistency.
Supply chain & logistics
- Coordinate the movement of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods between our facility and external manufacturing partners.
- Develop and maintain an efficient European manufacturing and supplier network.
- Manage purchasing, inventory levels, stock movements, and material availability.
- Organize transport, warehousing, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain material traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery reliability, and production capacity.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop practical solutions to prevent disruptions.
- Support cost calculations, purchasing agreements, and manufacturing budgets.
Internal factory operations
- Coordinate production planning and daily operational activities at our facility in Sittard.
- Monitor raw material processing, equipment availability, and production output.
- Maintain production records, material inventories, and operating procedures.
- Coordinate equipment servicing, maintenance, and external technical support.
- Work with our technical team to improve production efficiency, consistency, and material yields.
- Support the implementation of standardized production and quality control procedures.
Quality assurance, certification & compliance
- Coordinate product testing and certification with external laboratories and certification bodies.
- Organize testing related to fire performance, acoustic properties, durability, and material safety.
- Support compliance with applicable European regulations, including REACH and relevant textile and interior product standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, test reports, material specifications, and certification records.
- Coordinate quality requirements and inspection procedures with contract manufacturers.
- Track deviations from specifications and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support the development of quality management and supplier evaluation systems.
Operational development & scale up
- Help establish structured workflows between internal production, contract manufacturers, and customers.
- Develop systems for production tracking, inventory management, purchasing, and supplier communication.
- Collect and analyze operational data, including production costs, lead times, yields, and delivery performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Support production capacity planning and the expansion of our manufacturing network.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who combines strong organizational skills with technical curiosity and a practical approach to problem solving.
Ideally, you bring:
- A background in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, manufacturing, textile technology, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating external manufacturers, suppliers, or industrial production processes.
- An understanding of production planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Experience working with manufacturing specifications, quality control, or technical documentation.
- Familiarity with product certification and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to coordinate multiple external partners and production activities simultaneously.
- A structured, independent, and solution oriented working style.
- Fluency in English. Dutch or German is an advantage.
- Experience in textile manufacturing, chemical processing, material science, or industrial scale up would be particularly relevant.
Your mindset
You enjoy connecting people, processes, and production facilities. You are equally comfortable visiting a factory, discussing specifications with engineers, negotiating with suppliers, and organizing production schedules.
You understand that scaling a new material requires flexibility, attention to detail, and persistence.
You are proactive, practical, and comfortable working in an environment where production processes and supplier networks are still evolving.
Most importantly, you enjoy creating structure, solving problems, and making things happen.
What we offer
- The opportunity to help establish the industrial supply chain for a new material category.
- Direct involvement in developing a European network of contract manufacturers and production partners.
- A meaningful role in scaling an innovative material technology from pilot to commercial production.
